    What is RAMLETS?

    RAMLETS (aka RamsgateLETS, the Ramsgate Local Exchange and Trading System) is a community-based barter system for the whole of Thanet. Members pool their skills and resources to form a local network, which allows them to trade goods and services without using money. Instead of using pounds and pence, RAMLETS has its own 'currency' called 'RAMS'. It is restarting in 2023 and is one of over 450 similar systems around the country. Join now to be one of its founder members!

    Please have a look round the public areas of our site. There is a FAQ under the About the System link. This will describe the LETS concept and also show what can be done via the website once you have joined. If you like what you see then please join up. We have a twitter account @ramsgatelets and a Facebook page ramsgatelets. Please follow and like us to spread the word!

    If you are already a RAMLETS member, please login and you will be able to access the full directory, as well as find other members, change your password and notices, and access useful downloads. Don't forget to look at the Noticeboard! Short term offers and notices are put there and you might get the bargain of a lifetime.

    Your details are not accessible to the public, only to members who have logged in.

    If you have forgotten your password send an email to infos@ramlets.org.uk to request a new password to be sent to your email address. Once you have logged in with this password you can change it to a more memorable one by going to the User Menu option on the right of the page and selecting 'Change your password'.

    Computer help, such as networking and program setup; Dog walking and feeding; Waiting in for a delivery;
    Providing food for an event; Face Painting; Proofreading; Translation help; Cookery classes; Yoga/Pilates;
    Seedlings, vegetables and plants; Conversation; Shopping; Handywoman; Musical performance; Reiki; Decluttering;
    Babysitting; Gardening; Transport; Lifts; Assembling flat pack furniture; Ironing; TEFL etc; VHS conversion;
    Acting as a chaperone when a member is using an unknown member to perform a service;
    Attending committee meetings of associated groups.
